A reading of Mark Jason Williams' A Man's Man is presented by Anne Berlin as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity May 17 at 1 PM.

Directed by Valentina Fratti, the reading features Geneva Carr (Hand to God), George Dvorsky (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Closer Than Ever), Chris Henry Coffey (Bronx Bombers, Water by the Spoonful), Dennis Parlato (Other Desert Cities) and Ian Whitt.

Here's how the reading is billed: "A Man's Man is a powerful, timely new drama about three generations of men bound by family obligations and the unexpected revelations that force them to question the pressures of conventional stereotypes as they face loss and love."

Williams' plays include Straight Faced LiesThe Other Day and Recovery.

The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity is New York's premiere eco-friendly, socially conscious not-for-profit arts festival.

The reading of A Man's Man is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. Reservations and more information can be found by visiting planetconnections.org/a-mans-man
