Following the 7 PM June 25 performance of Ann, the critically acclaimed play written and performed by Emmy and Outer Critics Circle Award winner and Tony nominee Holland Taylor, feminist activist and writer Gloria Steinem will lead a post-show talkback.
The talkback, which is titled "More about Ann - And the Future," will focus on women in politics, both the history and the future, as well as Steinem's work both campaigning for Ann Richards and as her colleague. The discussion is complimentary with ticket purchase to the June 25 performance.
Directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein, Ann began performances Feb. 18 at Lincoln Center’s Vivian Beaumont Theater and opened March 7. The production will play its final performance June 30.
A founder of the National Women's Political Caucus with Bella Abzug and Shirley Chisholm, Gloria Steinem has spent more than 40 years as an on-the-road campaigner for pro-equality candidates.
