The Tony Award-nominated hit Rock of Ages will receive its international debut in 2012 from Manila's Atlantis Productions, which will also stage the Tony-winning hit God of Carnage starring Lea Salonga.

Salonga (Miss Saigon, Flower Drum Song) will headline the July 13-22, 2012, production of Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning comedy about a parental showdown. Atlantis' Bobby Garcia will stage the production that will also feature Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo. God of Carnage will travel to the Singapore Repertory Theatre following its Manila premiere.

Atlantis also announced that its production of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes' In the Heights will return for an encore engagement March 16-25, 2012. The original Manila cast, including Nyoy Volante as Usnavi, will reprise their performances under Garcia's direction. Miranda will also be on hand for the opening-night performance.

MiG Ayesa, who appeared as Stacee Jaxx in the Broadway production of Rock of Ages, will star in the international premiere of the musical that uses the hits of the 1980's for its score. Chari Arespacochaga will direct Rock of Ages, which is set to run June 15-July 8, 2012.

Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit's Tony-winning musical Nine, featuring direction by Garcia, scenic design by David Gallo and costume design by Robin Tomas, will run Sept. 21-Oct. 7, 2012. Jett Pangan (Manila's Next to Normal) will play Guido Contini in a cast that promises "a star-studded cast of women from the Philippine entertainment industry."

The final production will be Shrek the Musical, with a score by Jeanine Tesori and a book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Arespacochaga will stage the musical, based on the Dreamworks animated film, which will run Nov. 16-Dec. 9, 2012. It will feature new designs rendered especially for the Manila engagement.
