Designing the resident Houston production are Tony-nominated designers Anna Louizos (set) and Carrie Robbins (costumes), both of whom designed the current Broadway production of the holiday musical at the Marquis Theatre. The 2004 stage adaptation – with a book by David Ives and Paul Blake – premiered in San Francisco. With direction by Bobbie and choreography by Randy Skinner, the premiere spawned several sit-down productions across the U.S. and began its Broadway premiere Nov. 14 at the Marquis.
