A host of actors who have previously appeared at the Berkshire Theatre Festival will return for the 2009 season, including "Queer as Folk" star Randy Harrison, Hairspray's Stephen DeRosa, David Adkins of BTF's Waiting for Godot and Keira Naughton, who appeared in The Book Club Play last season at the Festival.
Main stage productions include Tommy Schrider as Albert Einstein and James Barry as Werner Heisenberg in Paul D'Andrea and Jon Klein's The Einstein Project, running June 30-July 18.
Stephen DeRosa will star in Neil Simon's The Prisoner of Second Avenue, running July 21-Aug. 8; while Randy Harrison will appear as Oswald in a new adaptation of Ibsen's Ghosts penned by Anders Cato and James Leverett, running Aug. 11-29.
On the BTF Unicorn Stage, David Adkins, Colin Lane and Keira Naughton will perform Brian Friel's Faith Healer, running May 21-July 4; Greg Keller will headline the regional premiere of Zayd Dohrn's Sick, which plays Aug. 18-Sept. 6; and, as previously reported, David Garrison will appear in the one-man show Red Remembers by Andrew Guerdat, playing Sept. 11-Nov. 1.
