Playbills for Hurt Locker The Musical can be found throughout the theatre.

Utilized as a way to explain why she is performing in a Broadway theatre and why she has a set onstage, Hedwig tells the audience that Hurt Locker the Musical ran for one night before closing, and she has persuaded a Broadway producer to let her perform in the Belasco Theatre.

The Playbill lists Bobby Cannavale, Taye Diggs, Michael Cerveris, D'Bree Dazeem, Hunter Taylor-Thompson-Tyler, Abdul Batin, Pepper Phillips and Blaine Duboise as cast members of the production

Musical numbers include "Hot Desert Nights!" and "Can't Camouflage Love," and the Playbill contains a Director's Note from Kip Buckner.

Hedwig, which opened April 22 at the Belasco Theatre to positive reviews, features a book by John Cameron Mitchell and music and lyrics by Stephen Trask. The landmark 1998 musical stars Harris as the titular Hedwig, a transgender singer fronting a fictional rock-n-roll band. Lena Hall, who recently starred as Nicola in Broadway's Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots and is also the lead singer of the rock band The Deafening, co-stars with Harris as Yitzhak.
