10 Dec 2012
The 2012 Hollywood Christmas Parade, presented by The City of Los Angeles and Associated Television International in Hollywood, CA, airs Dec. 10 on the Hallmark Channel from 6-8 PM ET. The event, which featured Tony winner Joe Mantegna (Glengarry Glen Ross) as Grand Marshal, was held Nov. 25.
The 2012 parade, which benefited Marine Toys for Tots, featured magician Darren Romeo, performers from Cirque de Soleil's Iris, the Jabowakeez, singer Ashlee Keating and performers from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the gay and lesbian choir, among others.
The telecast is hosted by Erik Estrada ("CHiPs") and Laura McKenzie ("World's Funniest Moments"). Dean Cain ("Ripley's Believe It or Not!") hosts the music portion, and Elizabeth Stanton and Rob Pinkston served as parade reporters.
The nationally televised special will also air on the Hallmark Movie Channel Dec. 21 from 6-8 PM ET and in syndication across the country and internationally via the American Forces Network.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
