The cast will include Nick Spangler and Drama Desk nominee Farah Alvin as Jack and Loretta Clemens with Drama Desk nominee Cass Morgan as Mrs. Clemens and Matthew Hydzik as Fred Tupper. The ensemble will feature John Caliendo, Larry Daggett, Laura Darrell, Russell Fischer, Jean McCormick and Jessica Wagner.

The new musical has a book by real-life siblings Robert and Cristina Farruggia, who also co-wrote the lyrics, with music by Robert Farruggia. Musical direction will be provided by Paul Masse.

On the Air, according to press notes, is an "homage to the golden age of musical theatre and inspired by the real life story of Jack and Loretta Clemens, a sibling Vaudeville duo who went on to star in radio and television. It's a story that deals with major changes in society and entertainment throughout the early half of the 20th century, but more importantly, how two siblings deal with their careers, relationships, and discovering what is truly important to them."

The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter’s is located at 619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue. The reading is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5 (visit Yorktheatre.org).
