Avenue Q and Book of Mormon Tony winner Lopez is collaborating with his wife, Kristen Anderson-Lopez ("Winnie the Pooh," Up Here), on the score to "Frozen," which will feature the voices of Menzel ( Wicked, Rent) as the Snow Queen and Kristen Bell ("Reefer Madness," "Heroes") as Anna.

Chris Buck ("Tarzan," "Surf's Up") will direct the computer-animated film musical that is produced by Peter Del Vecho ("Winnie the Pooh," "The Princess and the Frog").

The film is announced for a November 2013 debut.

Here's how Disney characterizes the film: "In 'Frozen,' a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna (Bell) must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen (Menzel) and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction."
