Jenn Colella, George Dvorsky, Christiane Noll, Sal Viviano Will Star in Off-Broadway Revival of Closer Than Ever

York Theatre Company will present the first New York City revival of the hit Off-Broadway revue Closer Than Ever, featuring the lyrics of Richard Maltby, Jr. and the music of David Shire, beginning June 5 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter’s.

Directed by Maltby with music direction by Andrew Gerle, the limited engagement will continue through July 14 at the Off-Broadway venue, located in the Citicorp Building (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The cast will boast Broadway actors Jenn Colella ( Urban Cowboy, High Fidelity), George Dvorsky ( The Scarlet Pimpernel), 2011 Tony nominee Christiane Noll ( Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde) and Sal Viviano ( The Full Monty).

Closer Than Ever, according to the York, is described as an "intimate musical about love, friendship, security, happiness – and holding onto those essentials in a world that pulls us in a hundred directions at once."

Show times will be Monday and Tuesday at 7 PM, Wednesday-Friday 8 PM and Saturday at 2:30 PM and 8 PM.
