Jeremy Jordan, Jeremy Kushnier, Asmeret Ghebremichael and Roe Hartrampf join The Skivvies for their Oct. 11 late-night show at 54 Below.
Following their most recent Sept. 23 sold-out engagement at 54 Below, The Skivvies' 11 PM concert features Tony nominee Jordan (Newsies, "Smash"), Kushnier (Rocky Horror, Jesus Christ Superstar), Ghebremichael (The Book of Mormon) and Hartrampf (Unnatural Acts).
Featuring actor-musicians Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd, Marry Me a Little) and Nick Cearley (All Shook Up), the Skivvies are known for their acoustic performances of pop songs, wearing nothing but their underwear. The duo and their guests play instruments ranging from the cello, ukulele, guitar and glockenspiel to the melodica.
Cearley and Molina are also set to appear as Brad and Janet in the Bucks County Playhouse production of The Rocky Horror Show, which will also feature Kushnier. Read more about it here.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
