The evening, set to begin at 10 PM, will feature performances by Liz Lark Brown, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Seth Eliser, Alexandra Ferrara, Hager, Dennis Michael Keefe, MK Lawson, Rachel Lee, Lorinda Lisitza, Morris, Rob Rokicki, Charlie Rosen, Mike Rosengarten, Lance Rubin, Jared Weiss and Williams.
Here's how the evening is billed: "Musical theatre rabble rouser Joe Iconis brings his unique mash-up of showtune cabaret and rock and roll jamboree back to the Beechman, just in time for St. Patty's Day! Join Mr. Iconis and his merry band of musical theater punks as they roar their way through a set of Joe's incendiary songs, along with a seasonally-appropriate cover or two. The huge cast of brilliant actor/singers and lunatic musicians will offer you an evening where searing character studies meet drunken back room sing-alongs. This is no mere concert. This is a great, big, howling love-letter to passionate musical theater at its best and bloodiest. Grease up your kazoo, fill your whiskey glass and stay for a while. It's going to be a helluva night."
Iconis has penned the Drama Desk Award-nominated Bloodsong of Love, ReWrite and The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks as well as the theatrical concert Things to Ruin (cast recording now available on Ghostlight Records). Several of his songs were featured on the second season of NBC's "Smash," and his musical The Black Suits played CTG's Kirk Douglas Theater this past fall.
