Joe Traina's "Lucky Stiff," With Charlotte Booker, Simon Jones, Michael McGrath, Will Be Screened in NYC

Broadway house manager and musician Joe Traina's second independent film, "Lucky Stiff," will make its premiere March 10 at Dolby 88 in Manhattan.

A 5:30 PM reception will be followed by screenings at 6 PM and 7 PM.

In the new film Charlie Traina plays "Jake Spade, the boy detective pulled into a web of intrigue, mayhem and mystery when hired by a daughter of the idle rich," according to press notes.

A spoof of the film noir genre, the cast also features Charlotte Booker, Simon Jones, Michael McGrath, Robert Koch Turano, Danny Rutigliano, Betty Hudson, Rob Breckenridge, Haley Zale, Quinn Lemley and Lee J. Cobb with a special appearance by Fyvush Finkel. Cory Green directed.

Dolby 88 is located at 1350 Sixth Avenue at West 55th Street. A limited number of seats at each screening will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
