Titled Get Back, the Spring Awakening and "Glee" star will take the stage at 7 PM for the concert at the Five Angels Theater that draws inspiration from his childhood. Musical direction will be by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.
Groff will be joined by a 52nd Street Project youngster and other special guests to be announced.
According to the 52nd Street Project, "Revisit that time of wild imagination, dress-up, sibling rivalry and humiliating home videos – you know, childhood… It's an evening of songs and reminiscences about the Broadway/TV/film star's 'let's put on a show in the barn' past."
Groff, who received a Tony nomination for his performance as radical teenager Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening, was also seen on Broadway in In My Life. He most recently appeared on the New York stage in The Submission and played the character of Jesse St. James on "Glee." His upcoming screen appearances include the HBO series "Looking" and the film of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart. He will also be part of the 2014 American Songbook Series at the Allen Room.
Tickets start at $100. For tickets click here.
