Josh Young, Robin de Jesus, Katie Thompson, Andrew Keenan-Bolger Sing Cutting-Edge Composers at Joe's Pub Feb. 4

Tony Award nominees Josh Young and Robin de Jesus are part of the Feb. 4 Cutting-Edge Composers concert at Joe's Pub. Music by Joe Iconis, Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will be performed.



Directed and produced by Laura Pietropinto, the 7 PM concert is musical directed by Julie McBride and co-produced by Jillian Robbins.

In addition to Young (Jesus Christ Superstar) and de Jesus (In the Heights, La Cage), the evening features Christy Altomare (Carrie), Will Connell, Matt DeAngelis (Hair), Marc de la Cruz (Allegiance), Ali Ewoldt (Les Miserables), Cristin Hubbard (Phantom of the Opera), Emma Hunton (Rent), Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies), Andrew Kober (Hair), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Mary Mossberg (The Baker's Wife) Zachary Prince (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever), Danny Quadrino (Bye Bye Birdie), Tanesha Ross (Hair), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Matt Saldivar (Peter and the Starcatcher) and Katie Thompson (Giant).

Among the writers whose material will be performed are Drew Fornarola and Scott Elmegreen; Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich; Joe Iconis, Jason Sweettooth Williams and Lance Rubin; Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond; Lourds Lane; Peter Lerman; Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen; Virginia Hart Pike; Will Reynolds; Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham; Charlie Sohne and Tim Rosser; Benjamin Velez and Katie Hathaway; and Zack Zadek.
