The series, which has played Thursday nights at 11 PM, moves to primetime at 8 PM July 17-21. Broadway Ballyhoo will resume 11 PM performances July 26 and continue every Thursday night.
"We have happily found an audience of folks who want to hear great singers, singing great show tunes at the end of the evening," said Siegel in a statement. "But this special Ballyhoo Festival gives us a chance to reach those people who like to hear this music but can't always stay up that late on a Thursday night. We wanted to give them a taste of what we offer every week."
According to press notes, "In keeping with the Broadway Ballyhoo format, each show in its primetime run will feature an entirely different cast of stars and an entirely different set of show tunes."
The lineup follows:
Jack Noseworthy (Sweet Smell of Success)
Janine Divita (Edwin Drood)
Kevin Earley (Death Takes a Holiday)
Jack Donahue (Panama Hattie)
Heather MacRae (Hair, Falsettos)
William Michals (South Pacific)
