Kate Pazakis and Megan Reinking will appear in concert at Birdland as part of the Broadway at Birdland series Sept. 27 at 7 PM.
The "two popular red headed singers" will present "new arrangments, exciting harmonies and unique takes on some favorite music from all genres," according to press notes. "Backed by a 5 piece band, this vocal duo will present a sensational evening of songs, featuring their different views and experiences on love; lost or burning brightly."
Pazakis has appeared in Jerry Springer the Opera at Carnegie Hall, as well as The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, A Broadway Diva Christmas, Newsical and The Sexless Years. She co-hosts the Mostly Sondheim cabaret event every Friday at The Duplex, appeared on screen in "The Big Gay Musical," and recently released her debut album, "Unzipped: Live at the Zipper."
Reinking appeared on Broadway in Hair, Lestat, Dracula The Musical and Bye Bye Birdie and in Hair in London. She will appear on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" this fall.
