Katie Bland, Ali Gordon and More Ask How's This Sound?! at Feb. 1 Duplex Concert

How's This Sound?!, a new rendition of composer-lyricist Matt Patrick Walsh's original 90-minute cabaret series, is offered Feb. 1 at the Duplex.
The evening, which begins at 9:30 PM, features all songs written by Walsh as well as a few collaborations with Nathan Brisby, Emma Jeszke and Jordan Shavarebi.
How's This Sound?! includes performances from Katie Bland (Voca People), Ali Gordon, Daniel Palese, Kris Howard, Amanda Forker and Walsh at the piano.
Walsh's works include The Coincidentals (book by Emma Jeszke) and Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot (lyrics by Nathan Brisby). His material has been featured at the Metropolitan Room, 54 Below, the 45th Street Theatre, Primary Stages' Detention Series and the Annual Duplex 2012 Gala.
