Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, co-hosts of "Live With Kelly and Michael," will serve as the 2013 Kids' Night on Broadway National Ambassadors. Tickets for the annual event went on sale Jan. 9 at 10 AM.
"Broadway has always been magical to me, and it was a joy to share that magic with my own kids," said Ripa in a statement. "I'm thrilled to be part of a program that exposes children to all of the things that I love about the theatre."
Strahan added, "I'm honored to serve with Kelly as this year's Ambassadors for Kids' Night on Broadway. I have huge respect for Broadway performers. In the theatre, as in sports, the hard work, discipline and focus it takes to be a success are important fundamentals for kids to learn, and these actors and dancers are great role models for kids."
The 2013 event will be held held Feb. 25-March 3.
Ripa and Strahan, children from multiple shows currently playing on Broadway and Charlotte St. Martin of The Broadway League were on hand at the August Wilson Theatre Jan. 9 to kick off this year's Kids' Night.
Kids' Night on Broadway, a program of The Broadway League, allows kids ages 6-18 to see Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A Kids' Night on Broadway ticket includes free pre-theatre parties, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs and more.

Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
