Kelsey Grammer, who played his final performance in the Tony Award-winning revival of La Cage aux Folles at the Longacre Theatre earlier this month, returns to that Broadway venue Feb. 25 for a "special performance."
Grammer and his fiancée, Kayte Walsh, will be married on the Longacre stage, according to Grammer's spokesperson.
The ceremony, according to the New York Post, will be officiated by Terry Lavell, who plays Mercedes, one of the Cagelles in the acclaimed revival. A reception will follow at the Plaza Hotel.
Five-time Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer received a Tony nomination for his performance in La Cage.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
