Taylor, who appeared on Broadway in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and was featured on the original cast recording of Songs for a New World — singing the track originated Off-Broadway by Billy Porter — is joined by Nalle Colt (guitar), Richard Danielson (drums) and Rick Barrio Dill (bass) in Vintage Trouble.
The Who, whose rock opera album "Tommy" was adapted for Broadway, will play through Dec. 9 on the first leg of the North American tour. The group's second leg will run Jan. 28, 2013-Feb. 26, 2013.
The award-winning rock band will perform all of their iconic 1973 double album "Quadrophenia" along with a selection of Who classics.
Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will be joined on tour by Zak Starkey (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), Simon Townshend (guitar/backing vocals), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Loren Gold (keyboards/backing vocals) and Frank Simes (musical director, keyboards/backing vocals).
