Pulitzer Fest, a festival of play readings celebrating Pulitzer Prize-winning plays, will be presented by Labyrinth Theater Company in April.
Held at the Bank Street Theater, the festival will feature five plays over the course of one week, followed by additional free play readings on the weekend. Post-show discussions with the playwright and a guest moderator will follow select readings for weekday performances.
"Pulitzer Fest gives us the chance to honor and pay tribute to these compelling award-winning plays. Audiences will have a chance to celebrate and discover, or re-discover, these plays throughout the festival performed by Labyrinth’s diverse company members and guest artists," Danny Feldman, managing director of Labyrinth Theater Company, said in a statement.
Set in the magical world of La Belle Epoque Paris, where fashion, glamour, and passion prevail, Lerner and Loewe's celebrated musical is a romantic comedy about one young woman's journey to find her true self... and her true love.
