Final Analysis (Off-Broadway at The Pershing Square Signature Center/Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre). Final Analysis features Ezra Barnes, Stephen Bradbury, Ryan Garbayo, Elizabeth Jasicki, Gannon McHale, Tony Naumovski and Michael Satow. The work offers audiences "a view of the past, at a critical time in history leading up to the first World War. A time not too different than today — divergent politics — cultural warfare in the midst of great strides in the arts, science and architecture. The place is Vienna 1910, but it could just as easily be New York 2013. In this story, six historic figures destined to change the world, cross paths with un-intended consequences, and we are given a glimpse of the evil to come." Visit FinalAnalysisThePlay.com.

Brendan at the Chelsea (Off-Broadway at the Acorn Theatre). Irish actor Adrian Dunbar inhabits playwright, poet and author Brendan Behan in the U.S. premiere of Brendan at the Chelsea. Penned by the late playwright's niece, the cast also features Pauline Hutton, Richard Orr, Samantha Pearl and Chris Robinson. Brendan at the Chelsea "offers an unvarnished picture of Behan, who once quipped that he was 'a drinker with a writing problem.' He loved New York, but would the Chelsea and an indulgent city nurture this angry rebel, and help him come to terms with his demons about his drinking and his sex addictions (and possible bi-sexuality)? Maybe so, but a phone call from Dublin, will force him to return home, where he will be dead at 41 in a matter of weeks," press notes state. Visit Telecharge.com.

The Trip to Bountiful (Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre). The new Broadway production of Horton Foote's The Trip to Bountiful features Tony Award winner Cicely Tyson, Vanessa Williams, Leon Addison Brown, Adepero Oduye and Tom Wopat. The Trip to Bountiful, according to press notes, tells the story of "Carrie Watts (Tyson), an elderly woman who dreams of returning to her small hometown of Bountiful, TX one last time, against the wishes of her overprotective son (Brown) and domineering daughter-in-law (Williams). Her journey becomes a heartbreaking but ultimately life-affirming and inspiring tale that examines the fragility of memory and celebrates the enduring power of hope and faith."
