Natural Affection (Off-Broadway at TACT/The Actors Company Theatre). TACT/The Actors Company Theatre's production of William Inge's Natural Affection includes TACT company members Alec Beard, Eve Bianco and Victoria Mack as well as guest artists Tobi Aremu, Chris Bert, Kathryn Erbe and John Pankow. "In Natural Affection, a troubled young man, who, abandoned early in life by his single mother (Erbe), returns from reform school to find her now living with a lover," press notes state. The Film Society (Off-Broadway at the Clurman Theatre). Euan Morton and Roberta Maxwell co-star in the Keen Company revival of Jon Robin Baitz's The Film Society. According to the Keen Company, "Set in a South African school for boys in 1970, The Film Society chronicles the struggle of a young teacher to keep politics out of his extracurricular film club. After the school becomes embroiled in an Apartheid controversy, he must decide whether to support his activist colleague or side with the headmaster who can make or break his career. James Wesley's family drama stars the playwright and his daughter, Juli, alongside Marianne Tatum, Stacey Bone-Gleason, Lori Hammel, Suzanna Hay and Jennifer Simard. Set in 1970 Galveston, TX, "a family is brought together for the first time in years on the day of its patriarch's funeral.
