Intimate evenings with Tony-winning actors, as well as workshops for actors and directors, will be offered by the Drama League throughout the fall.

Held at the Drama League's Theater Center, a new facility in Tribeca, the events include evenings with Tony winner Laura Benanti (Sept. 24 at 7 PM), moderated by Susan Blackwell; Tony Danza (Oct. 15 at 7 PM), moderated by Tony nominee Rob McClure; Tony winner Cherry Jones (Oct 21 at 7 PM), moderated by Tony nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger, who co-stars with Jones in The Glass Menagerie; and Tony winner Judy Kaye (Nov. 6 at 7 PM).

Conductor/composer David Friedman will discuss "Conducting Disney" Nov. 11 at 7 PM.

A special pre-release concert of the studio recording of the new musical Perfect Picture will be held Oct. 7 at 7 PM, featuring Tony winner Debbie Gravitte, Tony nominee Andrea McArdle and Tony winner Lillias White.

Workshops in Butoh, an avant-garde Japanese physical discipline, will be offered for actors, directors and other artists Oct. 13 and 20 at 1 PM and Oct. 16 and 23 at 7 PM.

The weekend-long workshop "Ultimate Desire" will be offered Nov. 15-17. Exploring Strindberg's Miss Julie, the workshop will be led by director Petar Todorov.

DirectorFest 2013, the Drama League's annual festival of the country’s most exciting emerging directors, will be held Dec. 12-15 at TBG Theatre. This year’s four short plays, which play together in a full-length evening, will be directed by Liz Carlson, Alex Mihail, Danny Sharron and Nicole Watson.

"Having opened The Drama League Theater Center in May, we're excited to begin our first full season of event programming in our new home," Gabriel Shanks, Drama League executive director, said in a statement. "It's truly remarkable to be welcoming old friends like Cherry, Laura, Peter and Lillias as the first guests in our new series."
