Liaisons II: Re-Imagining Sondheim from the Piano Will Play Symphony Space in March 2013

A host of composers from the worlds of musical theatre, pop, film and the concert world will be represented in Liaisons II: Re-Imagining Sondheim from the Piano, which will be presented at Symphony Space's Peter Jay Sharp Theatre March 9, 2013.
Conceived and performed by pianist Anthony de Mare, the concert will begin at 7 PM.
Among the composers who have reimagined their favorite Sondheim songs as solo piano works in their own styles are Adam Guettel, Nico Muhly, Steve Reich, Phil Kline, Frederic Rzewski and Jason Robert Brown.
Stephen Sondheim will also participate in a conversation on stage.
