Lineup of Artists Announced for Inspired 4; Concert Benefits Animal Rescue Organizations
17 Mar 2014
Inspired 4, which will benefit the animal rescue organizations Eleventh Hour Rescue NJ and The Low Cost Vet Mobile NYC, will be presented March 31 at 7 PM in Manhattan at Stage 72.
The evening will feature the talents of Kerrigan & Lowdermilk, Bobby Cronin, Timothy Huang, Lyons & Pakchar, Leanna Renee Hieber, William Demaniow and Amanda Taraska.
Produced, created and hosted by composer Cronin, Inspired, according to press notes, is a benefit concert series for "animal rescue organizations across the country that will play every other month, with a rotating line-up of some of today’s exciting musical theatre writers in a casual and intimate setting as they sit behind the piano and, unlike traditional concerts of their material, perform songs by other writers that have inspired their work. … [The series] hopes to spread the word about the 2.7 million adoptable animals that are euthanized each year in America."
Jessica Kahkoska serves as associate producer.
Stage 72/The Triad is located at 158 W. 72nd Street, 2nd floor. There is a $15 general admission charge/$10 for students plus a two-drink minimum; cash only. Click here for tickets.
Deaf West’s production of SPRING AWAKENING floored the critics when it premiered in California, prompting the Los Angeles Times to write, "It's hard to enumerate all the ways in which Deaf West's SPRING AWAKENING is so very, very good." Now this unapologetically brilliant new production is coming to New York.
