They will perform the principal roles in the show to the accompaniment of the John Wilson Orchestra, conducted by Wilson, who presented My Fair Lady as part of the Proms in 2012. The score will be performed in its original 1948 arrangement.

The performance will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 Aug. 3, starting at 7:30 PM, and recorded for television broadcast on BBC2 in December.

Ben Davis, who will play Fred Graham/Petruchio, has most recently been seen on Broadway as The Preacher in Violet.

Alexandra Silber, who will play Lilli Vanessi/Katherine, made her West End debut as Laura Fairlie in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Woman in White, and subsequently appeared in the West End in Fiddler on the Roof and Carousel. In the U.S. she has appeared in the one-woman musical Arlington and the U.S. premiere of Howard Goodall's Love Story.

Tony Yazbeck, who will play Bill Calhoun/Lucentio, has starred on Broadway as Billy Flynn in Chicago, Phil Davis in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, Tulsa in Gypsy with Patti LuPone and Al in the revival of A Chorus Line. Later this year, he will star in On the Town on Broadway at The Lyric Theatre.

Louise Dearman, who will play Lois Lane/Bianca, is the first actress in the history of the worldwide production of the hit musical Wicked to have starred as both Glinda and Elphaba in the West End.
