"Looking" Star Raúl Castillo Set for Adoration of the Old Woman Off-Broadway

"Looking" cast member Raúl Castillo will star in the INTAR Theatre Off-Broadway staging of Academy Award nominee José Rivera's Adoration of the Old Woman, which will begin performances March 13.
Helmed by Patricia McGregor, Adoration of the Old Woman will officially open March 19 for a limited run through April 6.
Joining Castillo will be Danielle Davenport, Jose Joaquin Perez, Socorro Santiago and Carmen Zilles.
According to INTAR, "An ancient woman. A haunted bed. An angry teen. A sexy ghost. Political turmoil. Will Puerto Rico really become the 51st state or will it fight for its freedom? And all the coquis are dying. Welcome to the world of Adoration of the Old Woman."
The production will have scenic design by Ryan Howell, lighting design by Miguel Angel Valderrama and costume design by Dede Ayite.
Rivera earned an Oscar nomination for "Motorcycle Diaries." His plays also include Boleros for the Disenchanted, Marisol, Cloud Tectonics, References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot and a new adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman.
