Mamma Mia! Becomes Ninth Longest-Running Show in Broadway History March 6

The New York production of Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' international hit musical Mamma Mia!, which currently plays the Broadhurst Theatre, becomes the ninth longest-running show in Broadway history March 6.
That record was previously held by Jonathan Larson's Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Rent.
Now celebrating 13 years on Broadway, Mamma Mia! has been seen by over 50 million people worldwide and has grossed more than $2 billion at the box office.
With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! is written by Catherine Johnson and directed by Phyllida Lloyd. The production has choreography by Anthony Van Laast, production design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.
Show times at the Broadhurst are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 7 PM with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM.
