Mandy Gonzalez, Donna McKechnie, Emily Skinner, Lillias White and More Will Be 2014 Broadway Theatre Project Faculty

Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) has announced its slate of performers, directors, choreographers, composers, casting agents and other professionals from Broadway and Hollywood as part of its 2014 teaching faculty.

The disciplines of acting, singing and dancing will be taught by Broadway performers Brent Barrett, Mandy Gonzalez, Donna McKechnie, Emily Skinner and Lillias White; stage and screen legend Ben Vereen; actor and director Austin Pendleton; composer and conductor David Friedman; director and choreographer Marcia Milgrom Dodge; Broadway casting directors Jay Binder, Tara Rubin and Duncan Stewart; choreographers Christopher D'Amboise, Jennifer Archibald, Jamal Sims and Jason Samuels Smith; international ballroom champions and choreographers Elena Grinenko, Yvonne Marceau and Victoria Regan; and "American Idol" associate musical director and vocal coach, respectively, Michael Orland and Peisha McPhee.

In 1991, Ann Reinking and Ms. McWaters, who worked together on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals Chicago and Fosse, were responsible for founding Broadway Theatre Project.

McWaters serves as BTP's president and co-artistic director alongside Darren Gibson, who heads the company's junior program, BTP II. Both also serve on the Project's Dance Faculty.
