The second in a series devoted to classic Broadway singing, Two Legit to Quit: a Riff-Free Evening begins at 7 PM and explores legit-style musicals from 1960-present.
Performers include Bussert, Rideout, Morse, Nicole Dalto, Melanie Field ( Evita, The Phantom of the Opera), Carrie A. Johnson ( Sister Act), Paul Louis Lessard, Vince Oddo ( American Idiot national tour), Katerina Papacostas and Ryan Speakman (Broadway concerts of Oliver! and Camelot).
According to press notes, "In the rubble of the Golden Age of Broadway, a few musicals rose from the ashes and survived the Second Coming of Jesus Christ ( Superstar). For one night only, we will explore the music from 1960-present that gives the ever endangered legit singer a home in a world of witches and underaged triple-threats."
