Memorial for Man of La Mancha Director Albert Marre, Scheduled for Oct. 29, Postponed

The York Theatre Company's memorial service for Broadway director Albert "Albie" Marre, which was scheduled for Oct. 29 at 7 PM at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's, has been postponed until Nov. 10 due to Hurricane Sandy.
The evening, assembled by Marre's wife, Mimi Turque-Marre, will include stories and performances from several of his colleagues throughout his career with music co-directed by Nancy Ford, Jack Lee and music director Neil Warner.
Mitch Leigh, Marre's longtime collaborator, will speak at the event, which is open to the public with a reservation.
