For the Record: John Hughes, which features music and moments from the films of John Hughes, will be presented June 16-18 and June 23-25 at 9 PM at Barre VT in Los Angeles and June 27 at 8 PM at City Winery in Manhattan.
"For the Record: John Hughes" features works from "The Breakfast Club," "Sixteen Candles," "Pretty In Pink," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," "Weird Science," "Home Alone," "Vacation," "Plains Trains and Automobiles," "Uncle Buck" and more. Among the songs that will be heard are "Don't You (Forget About Me)," "If You Leave," "Weird Science," "I’m So Excited," "True," "Danke Schoen," "Twist and Shout," "Holiday Road," "Young Americans" and "Try A Little Tenderness."
