NBC's "Holiday Moments on Ice" Special, With "Smash" Star Megan Hilty and Mannheim Steamroller, Airs Nov. 25

Stage and screen actress Megan Hilty, best known for her work on the NBC musical drama "Smash," is featured alongside Christmas music group Mannheim Steamroller in the NBC special "Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice," which airs Nov. 25.


The show, which is nationally broadcast from 4-6 PM as part of the "Pandora NBC Skating Series," is hosted by Mannheim Steamroller creator Chip Davis, Olympic champion Kristi Yamaguchi and three-time U.S. champion Michael Weiss.

Hilty, who is working on a new album to be released in early 2013, joins Mannheim Steamroller on songs including "Silver Bells," "O Holy Night," "The Sign of Love" and "The Christmas Song."

Mannheim Steamroller and Hilty's performance promises a "one-of-a-kind sound that blends electronic, acoustic, digital and analog music styles [for] highly-inventive interpretations of traditional Christmas music."

Featured on the ice are figure skaters Brian Boitano, Elvis Stojko, Kimmie Meissner, reigning U.S. champion Ashley Wagner, 2011 U.S. champion Alissa Czisny, 2008 U.S. champion Mirai Nagasu, 2011 U.S. champion Ryan Bradley, Olympic bronze medalist Joannie Rochette and five-time U.S. champion ice dancers Naomi Lang and Peter Tchernyshev.
