New Musical Party Monster Will Explode at 54 Below Aug. 27

54 Below will present a one night only showcase presentation of Party Monster The Musical – the electronic dance music (EDM) musical based on James St. James' memoir "Party Monster" – Aug. 27 at 9:30 PM.

The musical has book and lyrics by Matthew Neff and a score by Brian Morey; it will be directed by Neff.

According to press notes, the story, "chronicles St. James’ life as a Manhattan celebutante and club kid. Blurring the lines between a traditional musical and a rock concert, the show examines two close friends, a group of followers and the consequences of self-indulgence."

The concert will feature performances by Joey Calveri ( Rock of Ages), Julius Thomas III ( Motown), Tracy McDowell ( Motown), Laura Beth Wells ( Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark), Injoy Fountain ( Stoopkids), Marty Thomas ( Xanadu), Tim Young ( Next To Normal), Eric Michael Krop ( Godspell), Russell Fischer ( Jersey Boys), John Michael Dias ( Jersey Boys), Talia Thiesfield ("The Following"), Ryah Nixon ( Beaches at Signature Theatre), Marissa Rosen ( My Big Gay Italian Wedding), Kyle Kleiboeker, Alan Shaw, Corey Desjardins, Noah Zachary, Brad Greer, Elizabeth Urbanczyk, Tina Jensen, Eddie Cooper ("Banshee"), Nathaly Lopez, Adriene Couvillion and Patrick Elliott.
