A new production of Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones' 1966 Broadway musical I Do! I Do! is to be staged at London's Riverside Studios for six performances only, beginning Dec. 5 and running through Dec. 7 only, with two performances each day.
The show, which follows the story of Michael and Agnes and their ups and downs across 50 years of marriage, was the first-ever two-hander musical to appear on Broadway. The roles will be played by Tim Prottey-Jones (a competitor in TV's "Superstar") and Lara Bianca Pilcher.
It is directed by Mathew Gould, with choreography by Cristian Valle and musical direction by Matt Abrams. It is produced by Arts House International.

Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
