Brian Holden will direct the musical, featuring a score by A.J. Holmes and Kaley McMahon and a book by Matt Lang, Nick Lang and Eric Kahn Gale. James Tolbert will choreograph, and music direction is by Justin Fischer with orchestrations by Andrew Fox.
The cast of StarKid veterans includes Dylan Saunders, Jeff Blim, Joe Walker, Jim Povolo, Lauren Lopez, Meredith Stepien, Denise Donovan, Nick Gage and Jaime Lyn Beatty as well as three new additions to the StarKid acting company — Rachael Soglin, Alex Grace Paul and Robert Manion.
In Twisted, according to press notes, "Team StarKid turns its satirical eye on the classic story of Aladdin, doing for its much maligned Royal Vizier what Wicked did for the Witch of the West."
Performances will be offered July 4–7, July 11–14, July 18–21 and July 25–28 at 7:30 PM.

Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
