Nick Cordero, who was seen in the first national tour of Rock of Ages, will join the Broadway cast of that five-time Tony-nominated hit musical Sept. 24 at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

Cordero, who will be making his Broadway debut, is stepping in for Adam Dannheisser as Dennis, the owner of The Bourbon Room, while Dannheisser is on leave to play a role in Disgraced at Lincoln Center Theater’s Claire Tow Theater.

Dannheisser will return to Rock of Ages Nov. 19.

Cordero's theatre credits include Off-Broadway’s The Toxic Avenger, the first national tour of Rock of Ages and regional productions of The Toxic Avenger and Little Shop of Horrors.

Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine.
