Nick Jonas Tapped for Second Season of "The X-Factor"

Nick Jonas, who recently starred in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, will be part of the upcoming season of Fox's "The X-Factor," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Jonas will appear as part of the judges' house portion of the show, where the top 16 acts are selected. The upcoming season will also feature Britney Spears, L.A. Reid, series creator Simon Cowell and Jonas' "Camp Rock" co-star Demi Lovato as judges.
The second season of "The X-Factor" will premiere Sept. 12 at 8 PM on Fox.
The singing competition is searching for undiscovered talent 12 years old or over – both solo artists and vocal groups – who are willing to brave the panel for a chance to win a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music.
Featuring the Broadway classics “To Life (L’Chaim!),” “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Sunrise Sunset,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and “Tradition,” Fiddler on the Roof will introduce a new generation to this uplifting celebration that raises its cup to joy! To love! To life!
