The Project Shaw series will continue Feb. 27 with a reading of George Bernard Shaw's Back to Methuselah: Part Two.

The reading at the Players Club in Manhattan will feature the talents of Will Bradley, Blake Daniel, Daniel Davis, Christian Delcroix, David Drake, Lora Lee Gayer, Rebecca Hoffman, Nikki M. James, Chad Kimball, Roberta Maxwell, Charlotte Moore and Fritz Weaver. Michael Riedel of the New York Post will play a Napoleonic character who meets an untimely end. Patrick Pacheco of NY1 and The Los Angeles Times will host. Show time is 7 PM.

David Staller, the acclaimed singer-actor who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw offerings, will continue to do so for the upcoming reading.

Back to Methuselah: Part Two, press notes state, is "Shaw’s 1921 outrageous comedy that tells the story of all Humanity...that hasn’t happened, yet. Where Part One (seen last month) began in the Garden of Eden, in Part Two Shaw goes Sci-Fi and jumps ahead from the year 3000 to the 32nd Century where he imagines cell-phones, Skype, and an entirely new method of procreation and birth. People live to be hundreds of years old (hence the title) and the power of thought is key. Do you have to see both parts to get it? No! The two parts exist independently of each other."

Past participants include Blair Brown, Mark Kudisch, Kerry Butler, Tyne Daly, Jonathan Hadary, Daniel Jenkins, Rebecca Luker, Michael Cerveris, Karen Ziemba, Michele Pawk, Bruce Vilanch, Jack Gilpin and George S. Irving.

The Players Club is located in Manhattan at 16 Gramercy Park South. Tickets, priced $30, are available by calling (212) 352-3101. For more information visit www.projectshaw.com.
