The 8:30 PM concert features Jackson performing Music of the Mad Men Era with members of the National Symphony Orchestra.
The evening, which Jackson performed at Carnegie Hall last year, "showcases the sounds of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s including dance tunes, lounge music and bossa nova beats."
Tickets start at $55 and are available at the Box Office, online at www.kennedycenter.org or by calling (800) 444-1324.
Following the show, there will be a Grand Foyer Party complete with live music, dancing and a balloon countdown to midnight, free for all Kennedy Center patrons with any Dec. 31 evening performance ticket or Roof Terrace Restaurant receipt from that evening.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
