South Pacific stars Paulo Szot and Kelli O'Hara will reunite for Some Enchanted Evening: The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, which will open the New York Pops' 30th season this October at Carnegie Hall.

Led by musical director and conductor Steven Reineke, the 8 PM concert on Oct. 12 will be headlined by Tony winner Szot and four-time Tony nominee O'Hara, who starred as Emile de Becque and Nellie Forbush, respectively, in the 2008 Tony-winning revival of South Pacific.

Also featured will be Mamma Mia! star Aaron Lazar, who appeared on Broadway in The Light in the Piazza and A Little Night Music; as well as Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA and New York Theatre Ballet.

Audiences can expect to hear songs from Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music. Many of the selections will feature the original Robert Russell Bennett orchestrations.

"I've never been more excited about an opening of the season," Reineke said in a statement. "This may be the best one yet. It's going to be a glorious night of music."

The season will also include a celebration of the music of Tony-nominated and Academy Award-winning Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz April 13, 2013, as well as a tribute to Sammy Cahn on March 8, 2013.

For tickets, priced $37 to $108, visit CarnegieHall.org or phone (212) 247-7800.
