Producers announced that a limited number of rush tickets to the Off-Broadway production of Pageant can be purchased at the box office of The Davenport Theatre (354 W. 45th Street) for the day of the performance on a first-come-first-served basis starting two hours prior to performances.

Rush tickets are $29.50 each and limited to two tickets per customer, subject to avaiability. Cash only.

Pageant is produced by SAS Productions, Kitty Potapow, Drew Desky and Michelle R. Rogers. ABS Productions serves as executive producer..

Pageant is billed as follows: "Like every beauty pageant you've seen before, Pageant features contestants desperately vying for a glittering tiara. With swimsuit, talent, and evening gown competitions – the show includes both the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat! Unlike some beauty pageants you've seen before, the female contestants are all played by men. And the audience gets to select the winner each night. Filled with excitement and suspense, but first and foremost, beauty. Let the beauty begin!"

Directed by Matt Lenz, the production features Nick Cearley (The Skivvies), Nic Cory (Signs of Life), Alex Ringler (West Side Story), Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu), Seth Tucker (Our Kiki) and Curtis Wiley (Motown), with Emmy Award winner Kevin Meaney (Hairspray, "Uncle Buck") as the host.

The limited encore engagement will officially open July 14 for a run through Sept. 1.
