Vinnie LoBianco (Perlman), an unassuming sandwich-maker, is in love with counter girl Angie Moscato (Heelan). But Angie’s got it bad for Rocco (Cohen), the local hunk, whose sights are set on sexy dance teacher Celeste (LeFrere). When Rocco runs afoul of Celeste’s husband Billy (Gregg), the result is a series of hilarious misunderstandings and madcap misadventure."

Remy Kurs musical directs with choreography by Christine O'Grady. The creative team includes scenic designer Jen Price Fick, lighting designer Isabella F. Byrd, sound designer Asa F. Wember and costume designer Sidney Shannon. Orchestrations and vocal arrangements are by Dimitri Nakhamkin.

Once Upon a Time in New Jersey originally premiered at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre in 2006. The work was first developed at Muhlenberg College Summer Music Theater Festival, and has been produced at the Village Theater, the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
