Davis is scheduled to play a limited return engagement through May 26.
She joins a cast that features Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, Christine Pedi as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
Davis is best known as the star of "Trading Spaces." She has also been seen on Broadway in Boeing Boeing, and her other theatrical credits include Sweet Charity, Beauty and the Beast, The Vagina Monologues, I Do! I Do!, The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line and Company. Her screen credits include "The Tonight Show," "Today," "The View," "The Dr. Phil Show," "The Wayne Brady Show," "The Martha Stewart Show," "Gameshow Marathon," "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and more.
The revival of Chicago began life as one of the three annual Encores! presentations offered by City Center. The musical opened on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in November 1996 where it remained through February 1997. The musical transferred to the Shubert Theatre on Feb. 11, 1997, and played that house through Jan. 26, 2003. The revival reopened at the Ambassador Theatre, its current home, on Jan. 29, 2003.
