A special three-course New Year's Eve dinner, including a champagne toast, will be offered for the 7 PM and 11 PM shows. Tickets for the 7 PM performance are $300, while the late-night 11 PM performance, which will countdown to 2013, will be $400. Tickets go on sale to the general public Nov. 12.
LuPone debuted her latest concert act, Far Away Places, as the opening offering of the new venue nestled just below Studio 54 in June. Broadway Records will release a live album of the nightclub act Dec. 11.
She is also set to star in the upcoming Broadway production of David Mamet's The Anarchist opposite Debra Winger, beginning Nov. 13 at the John Golden Theatre.
54 Below was designed by Tony Award winner John Lee Beatty and architect Richard Lewis, lit by Tony Award winner Ken Billington with sound by Tony Award nominee Peter Hylenski. Tony Award winner Wittman serves as creative consultant, and MAC Award winner Phil Geoffrey Bond is director of programming.
