16 Apr 2013
Kelli O'Hara celebrates a birtdhay April 16. Having just come off of a successful run in Broadway's Nice Work If You Can Get It, she will next be seen in Far From Heaven at Playwrights Horizons. Additionally, she and husband Greg Naughton are expecting their second child.
Playbill.com takes a look at her musical stage triumphs so far.
O'Hara made her Broadway debut in the ensemble of Jekyll & Hyde. She has gone on to appear in such shows as Follies, Sweet Smell of Success, Dracula, The Light in the Piazza, The Pajama Game, South Pacific and Nice Work If You Can Get It.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
