The new comedy Under My Skin — starring Kerry Butler and written by Robert Sternin and Prudence Fraser, the creative forces behind "The Nanny" and "Who’s The Boss?" — began previews April 5 at The Little Shubert Theatre.
The cast includes Tony nominee Kerry Butler as Melody Dent and Matt Walton as Harrison Baddish with Megan Sikora as Nanette, Allison Strong as Casey, Ed Hyland as Poppa Sam, Dierdre Friel as the Angel, Kate Loprest and Andrew Polk. Kirsten Sanderson directs.
In Under My Skin, press notes state, a "twist of fate leads to love and laughs when New York’s most eligible bachelor (Harrison Baddish) and a single, working mother (Melody Dent) hilariously experience each other’s lives and see things from a very different perspective."
Here's a look at the production at the Little Shubert:
Set in the magical world of La Belle Epoque Paris, where fashion, glamour, and passion prevail, Lerner and Loewe's celebrated musical is a romantic comedy about one young woman's journey to find her true self... and her true love.
