Aaron Tveit, Sutton Foster, Daniel Radcliffe, and more were among the nominees for the 2011 Fred & Adele Astaire Awards, honoring excellence in dance on Broadway and in film, which were presented May 15 at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

Joe Lanteri directed the 7:30 PM awards ceremony that featured performances by Cesar Corrales (Billy Elliot) and New York City Ballet's Russell Janzen.

Jacques D’amboise was the recipient of the 2011 Douglas Watt Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony.

The Astaire Awards were established with the cooperation of Fred Astaire to honor him and his sister, Adele, who starred with her brother in ten Broadway musicals between 1917 and 1931.
